Writing Assist

Hi everyone, hoping someone has a fix for the writing assist. When I select writing assist, spelling and grammar it selects the text and looks like it us working until it gets stuck and it never comes back with a result.

I've ensured the features are turned on, restarted phone, reset the keyboard.

Which message app are you trying it with?

Hi Robin, I have tried it with text messages, WhatsApp, messenger and Signal.

I've just tried it on WhatsApp, text message and messenger. All working perfectly and fast too. I don't have Signal so unable to test that. I am on a S23U though so unsure if that makes a difference.

Sorry i couldn't offer a solution. TBH that's the very first time I've used it. I could suggest wiping the phones cache partition, may or may not help. I've only just gotten the AI features on the S23 so not had a chance to properly see how they work. Is it possible to deactivate those features and then re-enable them?

One setting I did notice is the data processing thing (see screenshot). Mines off so all processing is done online. What's yours on?
