Signal and GPS issues after update

Hi,

Anyone noticed any issues following the latest update?

I now don't get a 5g signal even when next to a 5g mast, signal is now generally poor in loads of areas and I am constantly getting "searching for GPS" when connected to android auto to the point where I have to restart the phone. 

Hopefully next update resolved it but wondering if it's just my device with an issue or more widespread

I've got the same issue on S24 plus. 

Signal is awful and calls dropping out.  

I'm always on the road with my job and rely on the GPS. When I try to use it I just constantly get searching for GPS and it's unusable. Also I've turned 5G off. When I pick 5G up I have no Internet.

Samsung are saying there are no reported issues with the last update so not sure what's going ln

This shouldn't need to happen though not constantly, still does not explain lack of 5g signal either

Having the same issue and i thought there's something wrong with my phone. Took it Into the samsung store but they couldn't figure out what's the problem 🤔

Same here, my wife her S24 (no +) has no GPS. After a phone restart the GPS works again for a while, then stops. Google Maps doesn't find anything. Really not acceptable and needs to be solved by Samsung!

The problem is there since launch. Unfortunately Samsung is not accepting warranty claims for this issue either as other navigation apps work perfectly.
Google is not acknowledging the issue either.

Yep me too!! Quite happy with my S9 for many years until I got convinced to part with several hundred pounds to "upgrade" to an S24.  It seems to have a life of its own, beeping away every so often, I'm sure its listening to me......maybe all that intelligence. HOWEVER, it seems to have lost the ability to give a reliable signal and indeed the "GPS lost" issue has started in the last few weeks. Possibly since updating in mid August to One UI version 6.1, and Android version 14, and security patch level 1 August 2024. 

The GPS issue lost is potentially DANGEROUS as you fight to try and restore it while driving, missing the turn you should have taken...  

Come on Samsung, do the right thing and let us know what you are doing about it.... we can't all be making it up! ......... and using an atlas or A to Z is no longer an acceptable answer!!
