Samsung really needs to reconsider adding LiDAR technology to their phones given the massive growth of 3D technology over the past several years.  Why should Apple be the only phone to have it?!?

I just saw it. It's actually cool. I'd love this feature on my phone.

yeah, that would be a nice feature. I also wished they would come back with the infrared scanner and the sd disc tray.  "add a feature, take one away, add another feature, take another away....."

Agreed. I have just purchased a 3D printer, and I am having to consider purchasing a used I-phone to get a lidar capable camera.

I'm wanting to get into scanning and switching to iPhone because of this.

At this point, LIDAR would be the only feature to motivate me to upgrade to any next gen phone.
