Signal and GPS issues after update

Hi,

Anyone noticed any issues following the latest update?

I now don't get a 5g signal even when next to a 5g mast, signal is now generally poor in loads of areas and I am constantly getting "searching for GPS" when connected to android auto to the point where I have to restart the phone. 

Hopefully next update resolved it but wondering if it's just my device with an issue or more widespread

Idk I haven't done the latest update yet, but in the past few weeks my phone's signal was quite poor compared to the months at the beginning of the year when I had really good signal, the past few weeks I quite struggled with my phone even in open air. Other people said the same and they have different phones so I don't really know where the signal issue comes from.

Yes, I don't know what's going on but it's quite frustrating.

I have given up now - my S24 plus has gone now as fed up to the back teeth with signal issues - the modem and aerial must be awful - gone back to iPhone and signal almost full strength in same areas - what Samsung are thinking using this piece of rubbish - lost £250 as resale values plummet getting rid of it but glad I did - can’t put up with that - probably ok in a city but in rural areas the phone not fit for purpose

Same issue it's already been reported and sorted the fix comes out with the next software update as I have been reporting this issue from day one of the update

Samsung does have a history of messing and fixing with subsequent updates unfortunately.

Couple of things to try.

1. Make sure you are both upto date on software both on Samsung and Google side . August for Samsung and July for Google .

2. Also all apps are up-to-date in both Samsung and Google stores .

3. Turn off mobile data ON and Off.

4.. Simply restart your phone.

Yes i have the same problem. When i go to a direction the arrow show à other direction

Same Issue here. I just got the S24+ like two weeks ago so I thought it was a problem which always has been there. I hope they fix it in the next update, I just switched from Xiaomi 12 pro to use wireless Android Auto. Now I have to restart my phone every time I get into my car or the GPS will just jump around and say "serching for GPS".
