Shifting albums in gallery

Hello.

I have a problem with arranging my albums in the album section of the Gallery app in one way and when I leave it alone for a while, it keeps getting rearranged differently. Example, I arrange it by preference and it then shuffles it by some other criteria I haven't been paying attention to. I would like that my albums stay in the arrangement I put them after completing the custom Smart Switch transfer from my S10+ model and not be randomly arranged every time I look at the app.

@MtUMB: I'm not sure what could be causing your Albums to be rearranged in the Gallery app. Which albums are being repositioned, and are you performing any specific actions prior to the issue occurring, such as merging or renaming the album(s)?

Hi. 

First I transferred the albums via Smart Switch. I thought they'd stay arranged. But I was making my life more difficult by transferring three albums at a time with the custom transfer so the images in the album stay where they are. This caused the albums to rearrange the first time as the transfer occurred. When I transferred everything, I set to just drag them across the screen in the array I had on the old phone. That was fine and I left the phone to charge. Maybe there was some syncing going in the background, not sure. Next time I check the albums are in the same place as they were when I first transferred them. So I move them again. This will be the third time I have to move them but now only WhatsApp is doing some syncing.

Could it be linked to the device still synchronising with apps that also use the Gallery?
