Set watch face... In Gallery

Hi. Watching a YouTuber tech channel showing how to set your watch wallpaper through the Gallery on your watch. Seemed great so I tried it, went to a photo in Gallery, clicked on it, went to three dots then down to set as wallpaper. Then the "Set watch Face" within the list of options wasn't there. Has anyone tried this with their phone and watch. I've got the S24U and watch 6. Cheers. The youtuber channel is Appx.

Hey 👋

I've just checked on my S24U and GW⁷ - i also don't have the option to select it from Gallery.

The only way, i know of, to have your own photo as your watch face is

Open Wearable App
Click watch faces
Under "Photos" section, click Photos face
And then customise the face as you normally would
There is an option for Gallery in the background section

I could be wrong and there may be other ways and I'll happily stand corrected if there is 😆

You can also do it by sending a photo from your phone to your watch

open Gallery on the watch

Tap and hold the photo you want to use and you should get a little watch icon, tap it and select which option you want and it'll save as a watch face

Any Samsung Tech person gonna reply to this as I'd like to know why the s24 ultra doesn't have the watch face option in the gallery add as wallpaper section

Must admit I'd like to see a reply from Samsung Tech. If you read the comments on the Youtube channel it's seems hit and miss. Some people have the option and others like me/you don't.

Yeh it's very strange. I wonder if it's carrier specific?
