Edited videos are lagging/ stuttering after saving them

Happens when trimming a video/ changing the brightness, contrast, saturation etc 

In the editor it plays smooth but once you save the video and watch the play back, it's stuttering/ lagging/ low fps. Looks like it was filmed on a potato 🥔 Ruins the video 

Absolute headache have to use Google photos for now to edit my videos. The horror 

Editing through Samsung gallery. Anyone else have this problem? Seems to be common on Reddit but no solutions as of yet 

Any solutions out there really appreciate it, thanks in advance

It was fine until a recent update introduced some nauseating jerkiness. Even though it's still showing the correct encoding and framerates, the video trimming has become unusable. All the videos I trim now look terrible. I'm using a fully updated Galaxy A53 with Android 14 and One UI 6.1.

I've contacted Samsung support but haven't heard back from them yet. If they don't acknowledge the problem, I won't be updating to a newer Samsung phone.

It's quite ridiculous.  All these Software updates and none fix the problem

Also having problems, I need to edit videos for my job and this isn't a great look and client's won't be pleased. Anyone found a solution?
