See video link here to my issue: https://youtu.be/J4hzGv8__dQ
Here is a good video explaining the issue with my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
As you can see, there is a white line/shadow/after imagine that appears whenever it moves away from a light source. It is not a normal reflection, as if that was the case, the line/shadow/after image would remain on the screen as soon as I stop moving the phone.
This problem only occurs while it is on "video mode" whether it is recording or not and only the 1X main rear camera.
Here are the repairs that have been done so far:
- A recaliberation of the cameras which was not successful.
- A replacement of all rear cameras, including the main 1X camera which was also not successful.
Some have suggested the problem could be the CCD (Charged Coupler Device) A charge-coupled device (CCD) is a light-sensitive integrated circuit that captures images by converting photons to electrons. A CCD sensor breaks the image elements into pixels.
At the end of the day, I might just need a new phone.
