Hey, I need some help about purchasing the S24U because I've heard that it has grain issues at low light and color accuracy issue which was mostly on the devices that was manufactured in April. I cant find any confirmation whether this issue has been fixed or not. If someone has recently bought this device please clarify whether you have the same issue on your device as well. This is going to be my first Samsung device. Galaxy S24 Ultra

Hello @nemesisares and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum 👋
My Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra has been with me soon after launch date , and mine in fine in all departments.
As your concerned perhaps go to a Samsung Experience Store or Highstreet Network Store to have hands on with some retail models on display.
If you purchase from Samsung directly then on the UK a person has a 14 day window to return the phone for any reason.
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Hi @nemesisares
Welcome the community forum.
The S24 Ultra is a very capable phone and the camera can take amazing pictures. Knowledge of photography will definitely help to achieve better results. Point and shoot can also produce some very good pictures with good light conditions.
There have been numerous examples of excellent pictures and not so good ones. However, this must be taken as personal experiences. More often than not, we do not know the settings on the camera, the capabilities of the photographer, the environment and extra equipment used to take the phone or if the photo had some software made improvements.
There are differences on colour saturation among the different sensors, zoom levels. This has been demonstrated on different posts.
Low light photography is challenging with the best of cameras and lenses. A tripod is a must for this. Pictures will need longer exposure and hand holding the phone will not do. The same is true for big zoom levels. Do not expect good pictures at 100X software zoom or getting the subject on focus easily by holding the phone with your hands.
The camera App has been improved from its released date. I still believe that it should be excellent at taking pictures with default settings. Most users are not photographers in a professional or amateur capacity. Saying that, the Expert Raw, another free camera app from Samsung can give you greater controls on your shooting.
Finally, users should always adjust their expectation when buying a phone with camera capabilities. Phone photography has come a long way, but we should not never forget that these smart phones are pocket super computers similar to a Swiss knife, good for many tasks but never as good as dedicated hardware. A good lens for a dedicated camera will cost more than the phone. By the way, there are some posts where the phone is compared to professional cameras
So, if you want to buy a camera with phone capabilities, no smart phone will do. If you want a phone with good camera capabilities the S24 Ultra is a decent choice. Of course, there many smart phones very capable with their cameras.
You should also consider how good the phone is at other tasks, support, ecosystem, etc. I would recommend going to a shop and give it a try. Reviews, posts are nothing subjective opinions. You own personal experience will help you make the best decision for you.
I am sorry for the long post.
