Samsung S24 Ultra Update

Just installed the latest S24 Ultra update hoping the poor camera performance had been sorted out and I've found no difference at all. The picture quality is just as ***** now as it's been from day one.  Come on Samsung what are you playing at? Why are you turning out rubbish like this? If you can't rectify these problems then come clean and give your loyal paying customers our money back.

Couldn't agree more. I've had every note phone and the 20 ultra. This s24 ultra is absolutely rubbish. Unfortunately I exchanged my note 20 for this thing. The camera on my 20 was far superior to this thing. Unfortunately in England we have not got the update yet. This is the last samsung I will ever buy.

My update arrived yesterday (UK) and the camera is much better.
50/200mp don't look hideous anymore and the 10x zoom noise has gone.
Portrait mode is better too.

The shutter speed blur is still there on moving subjects but I doubt they'll ever fix that given Samsung's history on this.

I hope they can sort out nosiness of the pictures. It's not noticeable with baren eye but if you zoom in a picture it's very noisy and blurry.

Yeah mine too. Portrait photos look so grainy.

Portrait mode has the best results for me.

Yes, the noise is there either using Expert Raw or Pro mode. Curiously the raw format from both apps is different. I could open a raw picture from Pro mode with rawtherapee, but it it fails with a raw picture from Expert Raw.

I also have seen that with good light the results are not too bad. However, it is very inconsistent.

Update is already there if you have a simfree phone,

My update didn't pop up automatically as it normally does in my other phones, I had to go to the software search for updates section.
