Samsung S-24 Notifications

Hi, my wife and I have recently both acquired Samsung S-24 phones via Vodaphone. We are very disappointed to discover you can only select one Notification Tone for all  apps, ie, WhatsApp, Text, Messenger etc, where with our previous Samsung phones we were able to select different Notification Tones for each app which made it easier to know what was calling.

These phones are more expensive than our last ones, so should be better.

Also, my wife is not receiving notifications for emails, although emails are coming through.

Can you explain this backward step please, or advise if it is possible to have different tones.

As others will no doubt be soon to tell you, the S24 is a very sophisticated device, so yes you CAN assign different tones to different apps, not a problem at all.

Each app has its own settings category where you can choose any notification  you want.

Look at Settings > Notifications > Advanced Settings > Manage Notifications Settings for each app. 

This should open up the Settings then in each app to then choose your own preffered tone.

I think your wrong, yes you can have each app with a different notication sound. I don't think you'll gone though all the different sound settings.
