Samsung pass error

I got my s24 ultra back in January. I've had many samsung phones before and always used samsung pass to backup and store my passwords. On this device, however, I've never been able to get it working. Every time I try, I get a message saying, Samsung Pass is temporarily not available. Try again later. (255).
Has anyone else had the same issue or knows of a fix. I even tried a factory reset and the same issue persists.

Try settings > apps > samsung pass > storage clear cache and data

Also same thing but try uninstall updates by pressing 3 dots at top corner.

Try safe mode and see if there's 3rd party apps who conflict with samsung pass: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/?srslti...

Hello @JWard5 👋 

My Samsung Pass has always worked seamlessly on my Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra which was supplied directly via Samsung UK. 

Is it possible yours is a grey market import  🤔 

Who supplied the phone  ?

You can also try >

  • Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's } 
  • And as a very last resort back up and factory reset then set the phone back up manually.

The phone is from the three uk network provider so I'm pretty certain it's not a grey market import. I've tried wiping the cache portion and done a full factory reset but still have the same persistent issue.

I from Canada, I got my phone from Samsung, I'm having the same issues with pass and wallet, not only that but connecting with android auto was a pain, no this is not my first phone, I seem to be having a lot of issues with the S25plus.

After doing a few search on the issue, it seems like this is not a new thing, my last two phones were the flip 6 and flip 5, no issues there, I can sign in and use pass on my Tab s9 no problem.. Clearing cache/data or resetting the phone to factory does not help, this seems to be a samsung network issue, I still have my iphone 13, I'm thinking of selling my S25plus and maybe get the flip7, hunting for passwords is annoying, I use google wallet so no need for samsung wallet.
