Samsung keyboard S24 translate issues

Update: issue only on WhatsApp

After the last update 6.1 the Samsung keyboard auto translate is useless. I use it for Spanish and it translates it to something completely different or adds words that I did not type. I used to love that feature but now Samsung keyboard is useless because I can't use that feature. I had to go back to Gboard

I've updated my phone to the latest version of 6.1 and am not finding this issue using the translation option in the Samsung Keyboard. 

I have downloaded all versions of the Spanish options ,and haven't experienced this issue. 

Maybe reset your Samsung Keyboard to see if that helps. 

If not then do send this as feedback via your Samsung Members App.

Thank you for your reply can you do me a favor and test it in WhatsApp. Seems you were right. It works just fine in the regular sms app but the issue is in WhatsApp.

I'm having the same problem.  I was using the Spanish (Spain) and Spanish (Mexico) packs and the translator worked great in Whatsapp until about a month ago.  Now it's basically useless.  It adds words that have nothing to do what the conversation and many times reversing the meaning of what's being said.

I have deleted the language packs and it seems to do much better translating what I'm writing but now it doesn't translate what is being sent to me because there is not language pack installed. 

Very sad it worked very well for so long then suddenly it can't be used.
