For those who already have installed One UI 8.0. If using Samsung keyboard, the predictive text is not available until the language models are downloaded again for installed languages.

This also apply to the S25 series, and A56 5G.

I had experienced this on Galaxy S25 , Galaxy S24 Ultra  and A56.

If you cannot see the predictive text, go to:

  • Open Samsung Keyboard
  • Tap the gear wheel for settings.
  • A banner saying: “To get predictive text, download your predictive text models for your keyboard languages” with two options “Not now” and “Download”
  • Tap download to get models for all installed languages.

If you tap “Not now”, to get them back.

  • Open Samsung Keyboard
  • Tap the gear wheel for settings.
  • Tap "Predictive text"
  • Toggle on the selected language.
  • The language will be downloaded.
  • Toggle on all required languages.
