Hello, I recently switched from Xiaomi Note 13 Pro+ to S24 Plus but it's giving me headache, nausea and pain behind my eyes after some use.
Upon searching, I found that it's related to PWM (a technique to lower brightness by turning pixels on & off rapidly). I have also tried lowering the brightness through "Extra Dim" feature but still the problem persists.
Is there any other way to overcome this issue, as I don't want to return my device.
Thank you

Have you also tried changing the refresh rate @umairprimus
As far as I'm aware your not able to make the changes you speak of either in the main settings or the Developer Options.
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎

Hello @BandOfBrothers , thanks for your reply.
I have tried switching to 60hz but it doesn't make any difference. I really wish there as an option to change the PWM frequency or enable DC dimming.
Can anyone from Samsung confirm if there's any development on this problem? Looks like a lot of people suffer from this issue but Samsung doesn't care about it. How can we make our voice heard by the decision makers?

Not sure if it would help you, you could try the Eye Comfort Shield, and Adaptive Colour Tone, and if viewing your phone screen while in the dark - try the Enhanced Comfort mode.

@BandOfBrothers, Thanks for the link. I just posted my request.
@R2wo, it doesn't help, I am sorry. Tried a lot of things but none helps as it's a hardware limitation.
Thanks
