Samsung Internet with password managers

Hello. 

I had installed Samsung.internet browser, both the latest version and beta.

I cannot get any of them to work with my 1password app.

Even though I changed the settings in the system the keyboard is not displaying the information.

What's going.on? Is Samsung Internet only now working with Samsung pass?

Hi @Buxtonlad 

My choice is to actually use Samsung Internet coupled with Samsung Pass. 

I haven't personally used any other option but it maybe a limitation yes.

Maybe Speak to the app developers and to Samsung directly via your Samsung Members App.

I don't want to use Samsung pass as it does not include 2fa

This phone can be very stubborn sometimes and only chose Samsung Pass to save your password. For some sites it using only Samsung Pass and I had the choice to switch to Google Pass, which was accepted by the phone for the most of sites I am using(weird) but I did not do so because I was afraid not to mess up with my passwords or sites(this is probably because I don't know how to use this tech properly actually lol). You have the option to chose a default preferred password manager from the phone settings if you want to though.

I gave up and went all in for Dashlane, which meant dropping Samsung Pass and Samsung Browser, so everything is Microsoft Edge which gives me full Desktop and Mobile support.

I've just tried again and all is working now. N I've downloaded the latest Samsung Internet browser from the galaxy store and using swift board and all good with 1password.

Does swift board integrate 1Password, or is it your workaround, if the latter not good

Not sure about a workaround but SwiftKey board is displaying the log on sites within the keyboard toolbar
