Hi there,

Was iphone user for last 3 years and decided to switch back to Samsung mainly because of camera and also sorting photos. And I am so dissapointed with the fact that now the photos are organized the same way as in iphone.Before in Samsung gslaxy I could put photos in albums and have deleted them all in recent album, and now if I delete photo in recent album it is also delete in the other album.why Samsung did it? It was so good option, and the reason I switched back from iphone.Not happy 🫤

Hello there! Welcome to the Samsung Community. I have tried multiple options to hide photos from recents with not much luck. I think you are right about this, I think it is made in such a way so that it is easier for iphone users to switch and adapt to Samsung. If you are looking to hide your photos, you can send them to Secure folder or use a 3rd party app from the play store. Alternatively, I would suggest you notify Samsung to add an option to hide pictures from recents using this app. Hopefully they will be able to add an additional option in the future updates. Thank you, I wouldn't like to use third party app as that kind of app always want access to your details and so on.But it is clearly annoying

The recent isnt a folder as such just as a catch all or shortcut of recent taken or modified pictures

That has been there forever, well as far as I remember
