Hello.

As most will now have viewed the Samsung Unpacked Event and will soon receive their brand new shiny Samsung Galaxy s²⁴phone's  ,and with all the exciting new features and functions on these new phone's, including A.I

I'm again keen to see what you guys and gals can achieve in regards to snaps you take with this new Generation of Samsung phone's.

The Camera capabilities have always been important and indeed can be a very real deal breaker for some when deciding on a purchase.

I'm sure that we are going to see some brilliant inspiring snaps being shared on the Samsung Community Forum from owners of these new Samsung phone's. 😎

As before when uploading your images could you say which model of Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Series phone your using along with any camera settings you've decided to use or whether you just point and clicked.  👍

Please feel free to share your photo's in this thread.  📸

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Been playing with the object eraser on the S24 Ultra today and it isn't as good as the S23 Ultra. It's failing to highlight what I'm drawing round and snapping too far. Then bluring into parts I didn't highlight. I use the pen to be more accurate.
Was struggling on a photo so opened up one I'd removed a lot from with the S23 ultra very easily and I just can't get near the level of result with the S24 ultra.
Using the AI thing rather than just erasing is even worse.

Bit more testing the zoom out. Think it is doing something post taking the pic. On screen when zooming to the max it looked fuzzy but seems to have been smoothed out afterwards.
I don't remember the difference between what I was seeing and what I got being so big on the S23U.20240203_151322_1000112914_1706973204.jpg20240203_151339_1000112917_1706973224.jpg20240203_151417_1000112921_1706973262.jpg20240203_151427_1000112922_1706973271.jpg

Fiddled with the built in AI. Original, AI to remove the trees and move the guy and make him slightly bigger, last one is then a bit of erasing the glow around his legs and a filter in google photos.20240203_151322_1000112914_1706973204.jpg20240203_160914_1000112930_1706976555.jpg20240203_160914~2_1000112931_1706976956.jpg

Haven't been anywhere with my new phone, so far I am happy with the picture, can't decide yet if the camera is neatly superior to Note 20 Ultra, although one can tell is a newer generation and takes better pictures, and the shutter is way faster, reason why I wanted this phone. It also takes sharper and better saturated pictures than my former phone. Tbh I am still waiting on software updates that will improve sharpness in darker environments and grainy pictures need to be fixed as well. I also hope they are going to make remastering picture wat more accessible than it is now, having to press several buttons to be able to remaster a picture you just took kinda feels like a down grade. Also I never took a picture of a moving subject in dark environment or dimmed light, but on the Note 20 Ultra this was almost mission impossible or just not usable at all, another reason I bought this phone because I hope this feature improved with it.
Also old problem, when you erase an object or shadows/glare on a picture on this phone, you get ghost shadow and this feature was better on the Note 20 Ultra, it wasn't so obvious that you erased something in the picture and made the picture more believable. In some picture you couldn't even tell you deleted something at all, because the phone was filling the space and the way it erased an object was finer.

With shutter lag the device is useless for me.

It is a mystery to me how the only top manufacturer still has shutter lag problems after years of criticism.

There is no shutterlag in Pro Mode and you can use burst mode if you fear missing the shot.
