Samsung app audio keeps playing in the background.

Recently I've been having issues with any app that plays audio especially video. If I close the app completely the audio continues to play until I open it again and close it again. It's very annoying! Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I never had this problem a few weeks ago...

How are you closing the app? What app(s)

Have you restarted the phone

Just as a starting point to troubleshooting please first check the preferences the app. 

And look at >

1. Try a forced reboot by holding down the volume down key and power button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. When your phone resets, you will feel it vibrate.

2. Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

Apps like WhatsApp YouTube gallery mx player. It won't happen all the time, but when it does, it's annoying.

I close the apps as I always have by swiping them away from the recent apps by holding home and clear. The weird thing is that there is no notification or anything, and audio will keep playing even if I start another video. Very unusual.

To add, if I open the app that's playing the video again and close it just like mentioned above the second time, the audio stops.

Yessss. On one video I was watching i commented that it would be easier to hear had they not used that sound behind it. Obviously they other comments started calling me crazy asking me what sound I was hearing.  Or just other rude things. Then I noticed it again that I was watching something but other audio was playing. And since it's happen several times and hitting home button brings up Gemini Ai thing. Then I tell it to restart phone. But I see comment above said hold power and volume down button sane time 7 sec and it should bring up the screen to restart. This is annoying af. And I've never had this issue with any cheap phone. I paid so much for this to be having this issue is annoying

I can never find the source of the sound. Even after clearing all apps. Still plays.

I have the same issue if I'm watching YouTube and close it but its still open in recent tabs and then I go onto another app say tiktok randomly the audio from the closed app will overlay the audio on whatever I am watching. It's definitely a software issue never had this sort of issue before with Samsung phones and I'm not impressed with this phone so far 😑

I'm on s25U now haven't had an issue since. Looks like the issue is only with s24U for sure since my wife's s23u she's not had an issue.
