Hello @konikkk25 , @ashifta4336 , @AmberLouise and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum 👋
You could try clearing the cache of the app by holding down the app icon and tap on i and then tap on Storage and Clear Cache to see if that helps.
Also check the app is on the latest version.
A more broadsworded approach is > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }
If the above does not help then please do contact the developers of the Instagram app to let them know what's happening.
Samsung can be contacted via their Samsung Members App too to provide feedback.
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

hey, I've been having this issue. I'm using 60hz on galaxy s24. whenever I'm watching reels, and scroll through the comments, it starts to lag alot and the video playing behind the comments becomes very slow. I have made many posts about this but unfortunately samsung doesn't care.
samsung says to me that the issue could be with the app. but it's not i use Instagram on my galaxy s9 and it works completely fine there is 0 lag. and it's on 60hz as well

thanks for speaking out. there has to be more users that are facing the same issue I've seen it in many forums. reddit, samsung forums. but samsung doesn't care.
I dont know why the problem occurs but it seems like when I'm scrolling down the comments, the comments don't pre load , when I scroll down or up the comments load right at the moment I swipe down. I see those profile pics go from full black to their real profile pics right after I swipe up or down. even though I have full signal and there isn't any issue with he wifi. the whole app becomes so slow , like when I try to like a comment by tapping the ❤️ of a comment . it takes like 1 second for it to get red sometimes even slower, and the GIFs in the comment become super laggy . the reel playing in the background also gets choppy. it's a real issue but everytime I report it to samsung , they don't give a 💩. we need more people to complain. at least from my experience, the 60hz on galaxy s24 is a total joke it works very poorly, my galaxy s9 works way better. at least fix the issue or address it for God's sake
