My phone overheats when I charge it 😂 only gets to 30% then I gotta take it out. Mines is a different make, though.

Overheating how? Is there a warning or error message? When does it occur, following what activity

The device will heat up,particularly when running power intensive applications, multitasking.  During game play particularly it is likely to get hot and should leave it for a short time afterwards.  in all cases should cool down and would only be more a concern if it was excessively hot  (over 43 °C)   when there may be an error message.

If your phone was overheating to an unacceptable extent then a warning message would show advising of so, and in extreme circumstances cause a shutdown. 

Some cases may hinder heat dissipation and as mentioned the phone will warm up when some resource hungry features or resources are being used. 

There is a diagnostic test tool found in your Samsung Members App too.
