Spec wise, the 24FE looks better, but why is it half the price of the new S24????

Hi there, S24 is 799£ for basic model and s24 fe is 649£ for a basic model if you want to get it from Samsung directly, s24 has ultrasonic fingerprint reader, better processor while s24 fe has just optical fingerprint reader, while both phones are almost similar (spec wise) it's completely up to you whitch one you should get. S24 is high tier phone and will receive up to 7 years worth of updates while s24 FE will get it as well but if you want bigger battery, bigger display i would probably go for s24 FE (FAN EDITION) plus there's a lot of promotions going on now you can get 10% off and on top get a free watch fe, personally I have s24 regular and s24 ultra and s24 is really compact, good performing, device i use it as secondary device my way to go is always ultra models 😊

It's not half the price. For the same storage capacity the FE is about £160 cheaper only than the basic S24. The only major difference is processor and motherboard.

True, i was simply justifying why the basic s24 is still more expensive.

@Windroid  It depends on your priorties, the others have given good advice.  Whilst there some compromises made with Fan editions ;pricing,  the display and Battery may swing it for you. Performance though  is a factor.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

The FE models aren't as good as the full ultra models and lacking a few specs

@benakaget: The Galaxy S24 FE is designed to bridge the gap between the top of the range A Series (mid range) and the S Series (Flagship range). As others have pointed out, the specifications are largely similar to the Galaxy S24, however you will notice that the S24 build quality has a more premium feel, as it is slimmer and has a Titanium frame, vs the Aluminium, slightly 'bulkier' build of the FE. For me, that is what you're paying that bit extra for, along with higher specs in some areas such as the camera.
