How to avoid curtain access when phone locked, someone might still my phone and switch aeroplane mode on

Welcome to the Community forum.

If you refer to the drop down menu whilst the phone is locked, then users will not be able to switch on Flight mode or turn off any connectivity functionality.

To be clear, that includes Mobile data, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Location. So, if someone steals your phone and it is locked, they will not be able to change those settings.

@carlycalton: To edit your Quick Panel, please swipe from the top of the screen to the bottom, then again to enlarge the panel > Tap the pencil symbol in the top right > Top (Edit) > Tap the Wi-Fi symbol to move it to the 'Available buttons' section > Done. 

As advised above, please be assured that if your phone is locked then it will not be possible to enable/disable Wi-Fi or Flight mode without unlocking it.
