Not my phone fortunately but a friend has just swapped from Apple to a new Samsung S24 ultra and she can't add her card to Google wallet or Samsung pay, she's tried three different cards and non work, as a test I added them to my Google wallet and all worked OK on my S24 Ultra.

So what could it be as I'm at a loss, we tried to clear cache etc etc, as a last resort we wiped the phone and started again and still can't add cards!!, could it be a faulty phone?

Any help appreciated

Hi @182_blue

It's possible the phone isn't sending the info to the bank for verification 🤔

Have a look at these links >

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Hi . If they have done a smart switch transfer, that could be one of the issues.

I'm not saying it is. Worse case scenario. They might wanna reset the phone and start from scratch without recovering apps and settings . Rest can be recovered from a backup.

Yeah. But after reset. Did you restore from backup or started as fresh?

Out of curiosity. Which country is your friend in and where did they buy their phone from?

Not sure if there is any issue with the Samsung or Google ID as opposed to say the phone bought from. Some third party etc.
