S24 Ultra washed out colours

Hello,, I've just received my S24 Ultra and compared to my S21 Ultra the colours on the S24 Ultra are washed out and not as Saturated?, I've adjusted all the display settings and still cannot get the colours to match the older S21 Ultra, I've contact samsung uk customer service they went through Smart Tutor and couldn't find anything amiss has anyone else found this to be the same on their S24 ultra? I'm not sure if Samsung UK are aware of this issue? And whether a software update will solve it?, I suspect it's the new Gorilla glass amour glass which is anti-reflective which is great but not at the expense of colour, I'm seriously considering returning the S24 ultra and keeping my S21 Ultra

I had to disable the Adaptive Colour tone first to access the advanced Vivid mode options.

Using the new Vividness slider there is a difference. I do not believe the change at the maximum Vividness is on par with my previous S22 Ultra in terms of colour vibrancy. It's definitely a welcome improvement though.

Just got the update too here in belgium !

I can confirm to you that they have also increased the maximum manual brightness but it is still a bit buggy. Extra brightness works then doesn't work don't know why.

Got the update. Vividness is added and it makes the screen more vivid than before. But unfortunately banding issue and noise are there. After a month waiting for the update, I have to open a warranty case. It is unacceptable with these banding which are presenet everywhere that has gardient colors.

Noise is hardware, you people don't believe us when we tell you that not all displays has it

I didn't say it is necessarily software. But it is not only noise, there is also banding and this banding looks like a software issue because it changes based on what content is on the display.
TBH, banding is more annoying than the noise, because it is noticeable in the normal brightness level on any content that has gradient colors. Nevertheless, I will claim a warranty for a fix/replacement

So the news is that, although the colours did improve, banding and noise did not get fixed by the update!

Like you said, banding just makes all gradient colors look  horribly ugly!🫠

I am heading straight to claim a replacement then.

Just got it, AXB5 version. Some people got the AXB7.

Vivid colors are back but the strange effect, when you switch between 3x and 5x zoom in camera, still there!
