The forbes article has been updated and basically it says samsung engineers have opened a thread for feedback but the colors "are what they are".

"
We have adjusted the colors and brightness of Galaxy S24 series products to provide more accurate and comfortable viewing during use. Some changes have been made to the display technology to provide a more natural viewing experience, so users may notice differences in color depth compared to older devices.
This display behavior is an intentional color adjustment and is not a product defect, so it is safe to use.
To provide our customers with the best possible experience, we value your feedback and continuously improve our software (UX) as the market and consumer interests evolve. – Samsung Spain statement"
👎😡
Samsung won't fix anything. Fortunately, I gave away my faded S24+ a week ago.
Now I will be afraid to update my s23 ultra, because who knows, maybe Samsung will come up with an idea and introduce these faded colors to all smartphones with an update so that there will be no difference between them...🫣

If this is the real deal. samsung will be the last device i will ever own. cause not only took a long time to get maybe an answer. but not everyone has order thier expensive downgrade ultra throught your website and not everyone will be able to get a fair refund upon return. grats. i'm seriously thinking change ecosystem soon enought.

yes they try to say they didnt see a problem coz dxmark show this is berst screen ever, but why nobody see that some app's like youtube hdr video or testing apps forced phone to act like champ and later with normal use all is again bad. Comparison s24u to s23u shows real true. I ask few people to tell me which phone looks better and which is brighter and everyone point on s23u and nobody knows which is which , I keep both in same case with same wallpaper and settings.

People who are claiming to not have no issues with the display, do you have an older S series phone, have you compared them and still feel the S24 is better?
If you did compare and feel the S24's display is better, please share images!!
I just want to know if all the s24 devices have muted colours and some people are just ok with it, or it is just some devices that have the issue!
Because on mine the difference is just obvious, and I can't comprehend the idea of samsung saying this is intended.
My display is plain bad!
