S24 Ultra washed out colours

Hello,, I've just received my S24 Ultra and compared to my S21 Ultra the colours on the S24 Ultra are washed out and not as Saturated?, I've adjusted all the display settings and still cannot get the colours to match the older S21 Ultra, I've contact samsung uk customer service they went through Smart Tutor and couldn't find anything amiss has anyone else found this to be the same on their S24 ultra? I'm not sure if Samsung UK are aware of this issue? And whether a software update will solve it?, I suspect it's the new Gorilla glass amour glass which is anti-reflective which is great but not at the expense of colour, I'm seriously considering returning the S24 ultra and keeping my S21 Ultra

Here is mine when I have this set to 0 brightness, on a gray background using testmyscreen.com

Mine looks like yours whenever it's in dark conditions (not 0 brightness)

if you're still waiting for this update - this article sort of sums up the situation, wouldnt surprise me if the next update isnt out till early March

I appreciate the author's thoughts on  the slow speed of updates coming out.  I am with Xfinity Mobile and once Xfinity gets the update, they have to tailor it and then send it out.  So the wait is TWICE as long for us.

As usual with big tech it takes a while before all the management layers are in sync. There is an offical press release regarding the color issue. See link.

Also the camera issues are mentioned. The February update will be released with this month (depending on carrier timing).

I understand. Me too. However, after using all the recent Ultra's the past years, in general I am not as disappointed as many are. If you buy early on, you know you can expect these kinds of problems. You can also expect delays in official communication due to warranty / management and risk issues. Patience, or wait for three months before buying. Even Samsung is under pressure to deliver new phones every year, earlier and earlier in the new year.
