Hello,, I've just received my S24 Ultra and compared to my S21 Ultra the colours on the S24 Ultra are washed out and not as Saturated?, I've adjusted all the display settings and still cannot get the colours to match the older S21 Ultra, I've contact samsung uk customer service they went through Smart Tutor and couldn't find anything amiss has anyone else found this to be the same on their S24 ultra? I'm not sure if Samsung UK are aware of this issue? And whether a software update will solve it?, I suspect it's the new Gorilla glass amour glass which is anti-reflective which is great but not at the expense of colour, I'm seriously considering returning the S24 ultra and keeping my S21 Ultra
This is excellent news if it actually happens. Samsung say otherwise but hopefully it will.
Either way, mine is going back today. If I wait a couple more days I'll be past the returns window and with no definite 'we're issuing a fix' from Samsung I cannot risk being stuck with a phone that is substandard and I'm unable to return.
Hopefully the fix comes soon for those waiting and meets expectations and is not just a carrot to prevent customers returning phones.
I'd check out the likes of android authority and toms for an official line from Samsung. 👍
Now relax guys Samsung can already fill thry can not reduce vibrancy from device every year other wise no one will buy this tech so definitely huge update is coming soon so relax take vacation and come back end of feb we will get update just talked on call with Samsung india so relax
an update will come eitherway - there is no doubt, and surely it will fix some of the issues people complained - it would be stupid not to - the Q is when? today?tomorrow? next week, next month? - Sam has started issuing the feb patch to most phones this week, s24 is the only one still waiting and waiting ....
I asked about a display problem on S24U on the memebers app and I received a message that the issue is fixed and I should update the software. I asked them again that there is no new software to update. They replied again to update the software. Asked third time that waiting to update. Then they replied to provide them more explanation of the problem.
The conclusion is, whatever people are posted refering to the Samsung members chat agents don't have any value, either Samsung will fix something or not. But when a tipster like IceUniverse posts something, it can be considered as something that most likely will happen.
