This issue is a bit weird. It seems to only affect the home screen and notifications / notification bar on my phone, rather than the whole thing. If I put a an HDR video (e.g. "Color Burst HDR Dobly Vision 12k 60FPS" on YT), both phones pop just like you'd expect, there are minor differences but not really anything notable. Same if I use an app, like really minor differences which I attribute to the minor differences in the panel, brightness etc. What made me chuckle is when I get a notification on both phones whilst watching a video, they look entirely different in colour, like wtf? Something is baked into the colour scheme of the OS which is not present in applications.
It's just wild how different my homescreen looks. It's like going from an OLED to a VA panel.

I'm having the same issue ..I used to control my colours through the colour adjustment setting - personalized colour, but they've taken that setting away on the 24 ultra... So now everything is washed out and I find colours are not represented properly.. But when looking at a photo in Google photos it goes super contrasted?? I'm confused and annoyed..contemplating returning this phone because it's driving me nuts, my s21 ultra screen looks way better.

Actually just observed this just now, if you play a vibrant video in YT, and then minimize it to picture in picture (on your homescreen) you can literally watch as the image goes from vibrant to washed out looking. When you maximise it again, it transitions into "vibrant" as it goes full screen.
