My s24ultra was smooth sailing until the most recent update, now whenever I want to connect anything in the usb c port that isn't a charger will work for a couple minutes then disconnect. I then get the notification of "usb connector connected/disconnected". First noticed with my g8 galileo controller attachment, but now that I'm trying to connect an external display via usb c to hdmi, it gives me the same notification/error. Hate to have to return this device after barely setting it up completely no less than a month ago. Any ways to resolve this issue?

You are definitely not alone here. I find it hard to believe that your phone is a dud. I am having the exact same issues . Charging with any cable works just fine however, anytime I attempt to use my razer kishi controller I get the same error. Just to make sure it wasn't actually my controller I bought a new one and yep same exact problem. This only started after the last update. Hard resets, debug modes and factory resets don't work. I sure hope Samsung finds a fix for this.

I'm having the same exact issue since the recent update. Phone was totally fine up until then. Have to wirelessly charge now. Samsung update caused this.

Im also having the same issue after recent update my phone has been fine up untill the recent update. My phone will no longer connect to a external monitor and auto load up dex it will charge but slow and will randomly say connected and dissconnected. Its definitely due to the last update.

Exact same issue. Happened with a couple days of the update. Wireless charging is my only option at the moment. Just waiting on a fix I guess.

I'm experiencing the same issue with my Galaxy S24 (base version) when using USB-C headphones (the original AKG ones, which work perfectly fine on other devices). The phone charges without any problems and connects to Samsung DeX perfectly, including audio, so I believe the USB port pins are fine. However, when I plug in the headphones, the "USB connector connected/disconnected" notification keeps flashing repeatedly. The strangest part? When I connect the headphones through a USB hub plugged into the phone's USB-C port, they work just fine. I've tried every solution I could find online, but nothing has worked.

I had a similar problem like this, phone wouldn't register any connection whether it was on charge, connecting to the car or putting in an external USB drive.
Long story short had it sent in x4 before they realized the problem was a corrupt motherboard, had the battery and USB port replaced before they replaced the motherboard and it's been working fine ever since.
If anyone does send their phone in to be repaired it'll be worth asking to check the motherboard along with everything else as they missed it with my phone several times.
