Can anyone else convince him why buy Samsung? The updates take time and each device has a separate update. Isn't Apple or another company that speeds up updates faster better? You screwed up now, fix it quickly and get it out already. You've already taken your souls out. It's really frustrating.

Actually, I've been with Samsung for years, but I'm starting to lose hope. They don't care about updates, and they don't care about updating when updates come out. The main thing is that you pay a lot for a device, and then we'll update it, but it will take a long time until they update the S24 Ultra. Google has already made one step forward. It's called slowly.

Sorry to hear your frustration about one ui 7..

Unfortunately there's nothing else we can do to speed it up, if there's a major bug causing the delay or other issues I believe we would all agree it's worth waiting rather than getting bugs , Samsung is trying their best to deliver and correct all the bugs for some users so they can enjoy full potential of one ui 7.

Samsung, Apple and Google are your best choices on the market if you are looking for updates. They have the best software support. I don't live in China so I don't know what's happening there, but for the western world, it's these companies.

Your assuming other manufacturers don't get software issues.
Apple for one has had its fair share recently.
Take their Apple AI on the iPhone 16 series. Announced and sold with the AI. But in fact the AI wasn't available for months. Even then they had catastrophic issues like the notification summerise.
It's set back the Apple AI back by a long way with some features being pulled.

Samsung setup is more complicated than most other Android manufacturers.
So it does all take time.
I see on other forums people getting frustrated with either the lack of updates or delays from other manufacturers.
Google are quite good at releasing updates. But I remember my Pixel 7 Pro was on older software than the older phones. Was like that for a while before it was finally updated.

Personally I don't see what the rush is. The updates will happen, they will roll out whenever they are ready.
My Z Fold 5 is working perfectly fine as it is. Once the update is available I shall download it.

I understand the eagerness, but to release the software before it's ready would be terrible thing to do.
A glitch in the software has been found reportedly. So pause the roll out and fix it. Then carry on

I understand people are finding it frustrating not having the latest bigger number behind their devices OS, but on the flip side, the people who actually use their devices for more than a UI wow factor, it's beyond frustrating having to be concerned the next update bricks, removes or loses a function because it's being forced out prematurely.
