yes I have experienced that lately. Also touch screen is unresponsive. In addition to having to be on the charger throughout the day. I'm using the warranty for a replacement. My current phone is actually a brand new replacement from the original one I bought due to battery drain issues. I'm extremely disappointed with Samsung. This is the absolute worst phone I ever owned.

If you've experienced a drastic change in the way the S24 Ultra functions, and there's been no major changes to your phone (third-party app downloads, etc), please send in an error report, so that our engineers can look into this.
You can send this by heading into the Samsung Members app > Get help > Error report. When sending this in, please be sure to do so within 15 minutes of experiencing the lag, alongside attaching the error logs and a detailed entry of the issue.

I was waiting for Verizon to do their review however with so many things going wrong it's now being returned. Hopefully my next one has been inspected enough not to have any problems. It's a bummer to buy a brand new phone and then to end up with the refurbished phone but at this point I need a phone that doesn't run slow, I need a touch screen that works properly, and I don't want to have to keep a brand new phone on a charger throughout the day. Extremely disappointed with Samsung

What no one on this platform will tell you: If you want to improve speed, save important data to a cloud service and factory reset your phone. I'll tell you right now, nothing will help you much after a certain point other than stop updating your phone. Apple got sued for slowing phones down INTENTIONALLY after a certain period. What they do now is just stuff useless updates in older phones, which is what Samsung always did, to slow older phones down. Completely legal way to ensure your phone slows down over time. There is no way out of this. Every phone manufacturer does this. God speed.

I doubt very much that they would do this to a brand new released phone. All is accomplishing is people not wanting to own a Samsung anymore.
