Hi. Has anyone bought a screen protector yet for the S24 Ultra. I'd love recommendations please. I looked at the samsung site but they are £29, are they better quality or just samsung premium cost. If anyone has some advice please. I got the wallet case with the phone 30% off and with its front cover it does protect the screen. I'm just worried about scratches though

I do the same. I do enjoy taking phones out of the case but I'm terrified of damaging it 😅

Although if trading in, I'm not sure if Samsung care about the condition too much, but I can't bring myself to use a £1500 phone without a case and screen protector!!

I bought the official one from Amazon on the £15 deal...won't arrive until early Feb though.

Last year I used the official one for S23u and it was good

It will be slightly undersized compared to the screens exact dimensions but shouldn't be enough to cause any issues....will found out myself soon enough

Are they a full screen fit? I got the free Samsung oes when I pre-ordred and the size are poor and do not fit the full screen.

I've never bought a screen protector for any phone I've owned.

My previous phone, the S23 Ultra, had a mild scratch that couldn't be seen while using the phone, though could be seen if the screen were off and there was overhead lighting.  I should add, that minor scratch could not be felt if you dragged your finger nail across it.

The following article makes for an interesting read.

Interesting article, but for the sake of buying a protector I don't want samsung given the opportunity to reduce the price when I do my usual part exchange in two yrs time.

Do not buy the samsung, here is why(my expr)

The film is as good as any other nothing special but the BAD thing is, it does not cover the entire screen there is 1mm margin on either sides so when you use the back gesture(slide your finger from right or left to center) you will feel the rough edge of the screen film on your thumb which become very irritating over time

To overcome this, you could apply the film manually and not using the guage provided and keep an offset from one edge so that only side you feel the rough edge while the other feels smooth

Ive bought the samsung screen protector and you are correct you can feel it when you use the side panel and want to bring it out. Its not that bad though, Ive got used to it and doesn't cause me any issues now. Can I just say, if you manually put the screen protector on and try and move it over a bit to the right or left you are in danger of covering the front Camera, so be careful.
