I wanted to share my recent experiences with my S24 Ultra. My relation with the Samsung Galaxy series is that my first phone was a galaxy s2, upgraded to s5 when that one came out, s10 plus and now the s24 Ultra. To be fair, I never experienced something like this and it's truly disappointing that a company like Samsung asks 1500 euro for a phone that doesn't provide the service of a good working NFC and signal. I've read many stories having the same issues which you can find within the Samsung community form. The only solution they mention is to reboot your phone everytime it happens. Sorry, not sorry, this isn't a solution to a major problem. And I also don't think this can be fixed with updates, but is more of an internal phone problem.
SOOO lets go to the beginning: 2 weeks after my purchase I've been encountering frustrating signal loss problems with my S24u. It's especially irritating when I needed my phone for important calls or browsing on the go. I had to reboot my phone to make it work again, which isn't something I expect a new phone to do.
Another headache I've been facing is with the NFC contactless payment. It's just not cooperating as it should. I've checked settings, made sure NFC is enabled, but still no luck. Like the signal loss problem, I have to reboot my phone. This is especially frustrating when you're at the cash register in the store trying to pay.
My suggestion: don't buy the phone. I truly regret not buying the Iphone now and I can't turn it back anymore, it's too late for me now. I never had these problems with the s2, s5 and s10 plus. With these issues on the s24 Ultra, it just put a dent into the reliability of Samsung's hardware and my trust into the company. I'm truly sad because I always expect the best, however.. this one isn't.
I know people will convince me to wait for updates, but I think you might also experience the same problem and reducing cognitive dissonance on your purchase..

I'm sorry to hear of the issues your facing with your phone @Amin93
I can confirm my phone is fine in these aspects.
Apart from a soft reboot have you tried any other troubleshooting steps such as
- Safe Mode > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict.
- Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.
- Reset Network Connections.
- If you used Samsung Smartswitch then a factory reset then set the phone up as new.
- Using the diagnostic tool found in your Samsung Members App.
- A Samsung Service Centre.
I appreciate your frustration with your phone and only make the above suggestions to try and help. My apologies if you've tried any or all of the above.

Have the same issue with NFC, tried everything besides Factory Reset, talked to Samsung support, no one knows WTH. 😔

I've owned the S24 Ultra for 3 months and I've used the NFC payments since day one. Today, for no reason it stopped working at a Grocery store. I keep turning it on and it turns off by itself. I've restarted it several times with no luck. Not happy in Minnesota

NFC is more related to devices rather than phone. I have problem with nfc readers at tesco stores, any where else including vening machines works fine.
