S24 Ultra front camera night problems

Selfie camera is horrible at night. And with enough light too, i am not talking about low light.

People in selfies are out of focus, blurry, you can not take a sharp and decent photo. 

This is not ok, for a flagship 1000e+ this is unnaceptable in 2024.

Seems like night mode where a warm colored circle pops up and you wait 3 seconds - you cannot take a decent selfie.

Please fix it in the upcoming update, this is just silly.

I cannot post pictures here because of the people on them. So sorry. 

But this is a general issue, just google it, redit is full of people with same issues. Even here there are multiple posts. 

During day time, selfies are superb. Much detail. 

But at night, even in enough lit conditions, when the "night" mode is on and you wait 3 seconds, people still are blurry, soft, and completely out of focus, and i am not a newbie, i know that hand has to be still.

Never thought when buying this phone that this will be the issue. Even some old flagships have sharp selfies at night.

Hey on a serious note. I sometimes (if possible) keep my phone on a table or something and take photos with the main cameras after setting up the shot with my SPen.

Ideal in some scenarios and doable.

Of course, this is the option. S pen is great as a remote tool for taking selfies. 

But still, it is not okay that even much cheaper devices out there have superb night selfies, crisp and focused. 

I really hope they will fix this in future updates.

I'll he honest. I rarely take selfies, and if I do, they are daytime. As a rule of thumb, I never shoot at night, even on the main camera, as night shots are not the best, especially on smaller sensors.

My photography is mostly people portraits and the odd landscape and close up macro. So my most used lenses are the 1x and 5x.

I hope you say this as a temporary workaround, until proper fix is introduced.

Rule of thumb, not to shoot night time, only day time, when Samsung advertises night time photos and nightography? Really? Are you serious?
