S24 ultra alarm+battery issues

Hi,

Sometimes my galaxy S24 battery drains and phone shuts at night. The worst thing that then alarm won't work in  the morning even on my Galaxy Watch.

On older Samsung phones I Haven't faced with such problems- battery saving mode Managed to save few percents of battery till the morning. Also alarm turned on even when phones were turned off 😞

I would think watch alarm would still go off irrespective of the phone

You'll likely have an app that is draining battery.

Go to Settings, Battery and see what is using most of your battery.

That is likely to be where your issue lies 🙏

The watch gets all its information from your phone, so if the phone has no battery, it won't be possible for an alarm to go off ,

I've added an alarm on the watch. Turned off the phone. Alarm rang on the watch. Smart watch

Samsung don't care, unfortunately. They pushed out an unstable update that drains the battery. Everyone knows what happened. All you'll get on here is people gaslighting you, telling you it's an app draining your battery or whatever. They treat you as if you are stupid and unable to read the forums.

You must set an alarm on the watch itself. You have it as an option.
