Folders (where I've grouped all my apps) won't open.

When I click on them nothing happens.

individual apps can still be opened as normal, they can also be accessed via search bar.

anyone else having the same issue?

My folder are working - have you tried taking all the apps out and creating a new folder? Same issue?

Mine has been working until a certain point. I discovered it stopped working when I was re-organising it, moving apps out of an existing folder, when I move all of them out (so it stop being a folder anymore), it causes the problem, none of the other folders at this point would open, so you can't do anything anymore. Restarting would fix it, but it would happen again when I repeat.

Bit of a cliche suggestion at this point but can genuinely work; have you tried clearing the cache partition in the recovery mode? Worth a go...

That sounds like a very strange issue. Are you using any 3rd party launcher by any chance?

Wife is having the same issue with her 24 ultra that just arrived yesterday. Rearranging apps and can't access any folder now but apps will open if pressed. Restarting fixes it but it keeps happening.

Also facing the same thing, hoping Samsung fixes this with a Software Update.

seen on: S24 Ultra, Default Theme, Turned off App Drawer.

I've logged a proper case, but haven't had a reply yet. It's anoyying, but I just organised all my apps in one go and be done with it. Semms like as long as I don't mess it the folders, they stay fine...

hey, don't know if you were able to solve your problem, but I had this issue right after I bought my S23 FE, I found that going to "Apps" > "OneUI home" > and clicking "Force stop" seemed to work for me, and it seems to be a faster solution than restarting!
