Folders (where I've grouped all my apps) won't open.

When I click on them nothing happens.

individual apps can still be opened as normal, they can also be accessed via search bar.

anyone else having the same issue?

This is definately a Samsung issue. Just returned my S24 Ultra due to a slew of issues and this was one of them. With both phones, my original and the warrantee replacement phone, once the apps are grouped I will randomly have the app drawer lock. My first phone would look the drawer and open just one of the apps inside, nothing else. The replacement wouldn't open anything. I also could not swipe up or down when this happens. I am using a 3rd party launcher on both, MS Launcher. Only thing that fixes it for a time is a restart.

Just to start, other than my use of folders on my home screen this is a totally stock phone, no launchers, not even had this 4 weeks and it is a real issue.. again as said whilst organising apps in folders...some app cannot be placed onto the folder by either method....

Method 1 is opening the existing folder you want to add it to, and clicking the plus symbol (next to the colour dot)...when then scrolling or searching for the app from the list, it's simply not found (even though it is on the home screen)...

Method 2..keep the app pressed until it is available and drag it onto/or over the folder you want to drop it into...unfortunately the folder you want to drop it into won't stay still and won't accept the drop...and when compared to my previous phone (a stock Note10 5G+) the S24u is far too "sensitive" when using the drag and drop method, chasing folders all over the place...

My only work around was to create a new folder from scratch with another good app, renaming it e.g. "tools2", then dragging all the apps from my original 'tools' folder and popping them into the other...so long winded...

It NEEDS A FIX (now nearly 12mths on from launch)...
