S24 Ultra Dull Display Setting

Found this in settings that was turned on by default. 

Turned it off and I now have a brighter display. Colours to my eyes look better as well. 

Wonder if this could be the problem others are having.

A good battery saving option but also new as far as I know so may have caught people out.

Tbh the display is still very much muted after turning it off. Not as contracty compared to s23 ultra. I want the colors to pop like s23. Samsung need to fix this asap. The vivid mode and natural mode still looks abt the same.

That's not the problem ... the problem should be in software... if this not fixed will return the phone ... my s9 got more vibrant colour lol ... s21ultra I got now side by side is literally miles away

That option has actually been there since OneUI 5 (or even 4, just labelled differently). I always use Dark Mode so it's typically always been on for me.

Yeah I normally have that option off. But noticed it was on by default this time around

I read somewhere, that they did a reset of all settings and that fixed it. Possible due smart switch causing issue

Could be and worth a go for those that are experiencing issues
My phone is fine. But I used smartswitch with a cable. More reliable
