S24 Ultra Display is so dull, dark

Just had my S24 Ultra delivered yesterday after almost 1 week daily contact but when saw the display compare to current S23 ultra it is so dull, dark. S23 Ultra colours are so sharp and clear and S24 is not even good at all.
Now it is confirming Samsung had launched the unfinished product in haste.
Thinking to return S24 ultra and stick with S23.

@usmananjum

There have been endless debate about this issue. The previous one  unimpressive display just below, has links to a few more.

Have a look at them and reach your own conclusion. I do not think that improvements of the S24 Ultra over the S22 Ultra are that significant, let alone the S23 Ultra, but I did order the S24 Ultra 1TB and intend to keep it unless it has a hardware issue, or fundamental flaw.

In the not scientific poll on the thread below, most users, who had posted so far, are not too bother with the vivid mode issue.

To be honest, Samsung user since 2015, never saw a handset which has poor display as compare to previous one. Always display for newer device is more sharp and clear.

I don't have an S23U to compare screens with but my new S24U screen is a vast improvement on my S20noteU so nae way am I sending mine back. To be fair there is no real difference in display setting appearance on S24U between natural and vivid but my screen looks pretty vivid anyway so I can't complain. Hope they do send out a firmware though, to help everyone who feels screen is an issue. I am loving my S24U but it's quite a few years since I upgraded so the improvements will be more noticeable for me. Hope you see improvements soon, fingers crossed for you🤞

Arguably, Samsung has kept that tradition. The screen has been tested independently by a German company and it is superior to previous ones.

The vivid mode seems a software bug, but we will know soon enough.

I am all in favour of having the option properly implemented even though I will never use it.

I thought excatly the same, but after reading the returns policy, If the phone has been used more than it would be viewed in a store they will deduct money of your refund. Not sure if this is the same because of everyone complaining about the dull colours on the phone.
Has anyone spoke to samsung regarding this?

@cheeky81

If you are referring to the Samsung Online Shop, I think you have 14 days to return the phone and get a full refund, unless the phone has been damaged. All free gifts must be return as well. The law in the UK says that you are entitle to a refund for these transactions.

If you bought it from a physical shop they could deduct some money.

If you look at me previous post, there is a link to a thread with multiple links to a  few threads where some users have contacted Samsung Support. There several threads about the screen colours.

If it's within 14 days of receiving your device and you purchased it directly from Samsung, you will receive a full refund.
