Hi
I don't know if anyone else has been having these issues. But if I'm travelling and driving from one place to another my data ends up going from 4G to 2G mode. And it doesn't come back to 4G even when I'm in a good signal area. Even after turning data off and on it stays the same. You have to reboot the phone to fix this issue.

The signal strength is also very low most of the time. Not sure if it's a phone issue or sim. I used the same sim in another phone and never had any issues.....

Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Thanks

I'm not having the same exat issue but kinda similar. My s24 u will say 4 or 5 g but will have no signal. Also when I'm making calls when I hang up it freezes up than I have to restart it to fix it,it happens a lot. I had no issues with my S23 U I hope there's a fix because it runs slower than my s23 u most of the time and that's not cool.

Maybe all the cheap phones are faking full bars via software?

The only thing that worked for me was to change my sim card with another one. Went to a vodafone store, and they gave me a sim card in minutes with my number.
Now I have full 5G signal even at home, that never happened. The 4g/5g signal change is seamless, no more network disconnects.

You were lucky then. Your sim card has always been the issue then.
Changing sim card never did anything for me

Has anyone tried using an esim to see if it makes a difference. I'm with Vodafone in the UK. Recently got a new 5g sim card but still having issues. I also tried ee and o2 to see if it would make any difference and nothing. The signal shows 4 bars then drops to 2 then non and I'm sitting In the exact same spot. I also find that whilst I have signal I don't receive any messages. Once the signal goes then the messages start to come.

I turned off the 2nd sim and the signal became stable. Either way, whether its sim 1 or sim 2. Once you turned off the other sim slot, signal became stable. Guess it has something to do with the software.

I also, tried using sim 1 and esim. Signal are stable as well.

Signal became distorted only when both sim slot are turned on.

Hi
My samsung s24 ultra has signal issues 1/2bar and sometimes nothing.
It's not good enough for the price.
