Terrible camera on zoom and low light

I thought I'd add my name to the list to hopefully get Samsung to acknowledge there's an issue with the cameras. 

I've had my s24 ultra for 2 days and the camera processing when zoomed is horrendous. If you shoot in pro mode you can just about get around it and so hopefully it's just software. But unless Samsung acknowledges this very soon I may well be returning my device.

What exactly is the problem with the zoom? Is this during video or photo?

The stock camera app is never very good on release, but it improves quickly with the first updates.

Try clearing your camera app data. I had issues with mine, but clearing the app data fixed a lot of the problems I was seeing.

It's basically processing it with far too much contrast and, weird to say, but smoothing it out and then somehow over sharpening it.

I really hope some acknowledgement happens as I'm loving having an spen and a flat screen.

Exact same problem here too.

Low light, I mean evening light, Video and Photo both not great compared to a mid range phone. Grainy and Ghosting

Use pro mode and it stops the massive over processing 👍
