S24 ultra data/signal issues

Hi

I don't know if anyone else has been having these issues. But if I'm travelling and driving from one place to another my data ends up going from 4G to 2G mode. And it doesn't come back to 4G even when I'm in a good signal area. Even after turning data off and on it stays the same. You have to reboot the phone to fix this issue.

The signal strength is also very low most of the time. Not sure if it's a phone issue or sim. I used the same sim in another phone and never had any issues.....

Please let me know if you have any ideas.

So I take it this issue still hasn't been addressed by Samsung.

My S24 Ultra keeps stopping data. Just cuts out despite still showing 5G / 4G with full bars signal. Turning airplane mode off and on suddenly works and getting 200mbs+ again.

This is clearly an issue with the phone and nothing to do with cellular carrier as the phone is reporting it has signal but refused to allow data in or out until airplane mode is turned off and on.

Can we get an update from Samsung in regards to this?.

They've released another software update and I was hoping this might finally fix it but I don't think it has. I'm getting 1 bar at home which drops to 0 bar even when I'm staying at the same place.....
Looks like only choice left is to book the phone for a repair

I had to file a BBB complaint and invoke my state Consumer Protection Laws, but Samsung finally agreed to let me send my device in for a repair to be diagnosed. Who knows how long that'll take. I'll be sending it out Monday

I have same issue since I got my galaxy s24 same area same route to travel same sim and previous phone s23 never had any issue but this one keeps dropping signal and it's absolute rubbish. I have an office work phone and never have issues with that as well.

any updates mine seems to be slightly better as i cleared the cache but still not great.

had SOT issues, so booted into boot mode and cleaned the cache.
Aprently uses ai for battery.
I now get 7 hours Sot.
My signal hasn't dropped as much, but it still is not perfect.
Not sure if it will help
