Hi, I have been having trouble with my new phone connecting to the head unit in my car through Bluetooth to continue playing Spotify. It doesn't automatically connect as it should, even though it's paired and should connect automatically. I have to manually connect in bluetooth settings and half the time that fails as well until I re pair. When it does work, Spotify begins playing for half a second before cutting in and out every two seconds for at least 3 minutes. It's completely infuriating especially considering the cost of the phone. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this issue? I've checked with my brothers s23 and it connects to my head unit fine but this is just so painful to go through every time. Galaxy S24 Ultra

Hi @Micah9

Welcome to the community forum.

There was some problems with some cars. The firmware of the car had to be updated. Check if you need your car firmware updated.

My S24 Ultra is not having a problem with my car a VW, which incidentally was one of the car's brands having issues.

Another thing you could try is deleting the BT device (car) and add it again.

Hi - you're not alone. This is happening all over the place with the S24 Ultra, on any kind of car. Has nothing to do with the car itself; it's an issue with the device. Here's a Reddit thread about it. No answers to be found anywhere, yet.

Hi, I've got a VW T6. Factory fitted head unit connects great. Tried to upgrade to android auto for sat nav and Spotify. Can't find the phone when searching to connect blue tooth. My old Samsung(s20) connects just fine . I've put the old factory fitted unit back in. I'm disappointed realy.

Im having the exact same problem. It connects then drops out every few seconds. Its driving me crazy. Its not my stero because my husbands phone & my old phone work fine.I was told to clear the bluetooch cache, but I can't even access it on the S24 ultra. Very dissaponting for such a expensive phone. Getting pretty desperate that I can" t listen to music, podcasts via my $$$$$ phone. What is Samsung doung to help ?

I just got the the S24+ a few weeks ago and am having the exact same issue.

My previous Sony phone would connect to my car stereo automatically, no problem whatsoever and play straight away.

Now on this new S24+, I have to manually connect my phone to my stereo, the song will play for about 4-5 seconds and then for about 2-3 minutes will play choppy bits (like a fifth of a second) every 5 seconds or so.

It eventually catches up and seems to run fast for ten seconds but this is INFURIATING every time you get in and out of your car, even more so when using audio navigation.

I've gone into developer settings and done the A2DP fix, re-paired the blasted thing 5 times and tried every other fix under the sun and no luck. Quite a major thing to not work.

My car stereo is a Sony MEX4200BT - every other Sony and Samsung in my household and my parents is fine. It's just the S24+.

I just got my S24 ultra, and the bluetooth can't see my car bluetooth a Benz A180 2016. Whereas my other Oneplus bluetooth can easily connect with the car. Any idea. I have also tried the cable connection without success as well
