How do you prevent someone from linking with your device and changing the settings? also how do you stop someone from being able to mirror your screen? i can't seem to stop my neighbours from interferring with my device and changing settings/mirroring my device and stealing my data... Can anyone help me please?

They can't unless you've given permission at some point......

What makes you think this is happening? Myself although there are other options, I would hit the nuclear option and factory data reset. When you do this, only reinstall things like gallery and messages. Not apps and settings.

I agree with @Piper123, they cannot unless. you have allowed them to do so.

How are they connecting to you phone? Mobile hotspot, Quick share, Bluetooth, Smart view?

You could clear the data for all connection applications. This means that you will need to set them again.

e.g. Smart view,

Settings -> Apps

Tap filters the icon at the end of Your apps, select show system apps and filter all.

Search for smart view, tap it, storage and clear data.

A factory reset is quicker but more drastic. The whole phone has to be set anew.
