Hi s24 ultra owners,

Got my phone couple of days ago and battery life has been terrible. Getting only 3-4 hrs screen on time with moderate usage.
I used smart switch while setting up the phone

Anyone else having same issues or I have got a faulty phone, with a new phone I am expecting at least 7hrs screen on time.
Thanks

I work from home, so I am on Wifi most of the time, I have 5G activated, using 2 SIMs. I've put all the apps that appear to run in background in sleep/deep sleep (whatsapp, chrome and what appared in the battery usage), set light performance mode, turned off AoD, disabled NFC, WIFI and UWB scanning, used Dark mode and still I have max 5 hours SoT!

When I got my s24 ultra was getting around 2 day battery life. I've optimised settings since that. Turned on power saving mode and now can squeeze battery to almost 3 days now.

Depends what you do and whats ur screen on time
With medium use one can get a day and a half
Also what's the point of using power saving mode if you bought an Ultra phone

Hi Billymayn.
I think I have a similar issue. My battery on s24 ultra exited the learning usage pattern phase yesterday (which is 3 days post-purchase). However, I feel the battery is still draining faster than it should. From your experience of owning s24 ultra, do you think battery drain will stabilise or reduce, maybe a a week after the phone purchase and usage?

Hello again! Little update.

I reset to factory settings a week ago and exited learning pattern process yesterday.
After a first charge that gave me almost 8 hours of SoT, the second one lasted around 5.5 (no power saving, maximum resolution, apps running in the background and normal usage).

I actually like power saving mode since it makes no difference to me so I turned it back on, I turned off ram plus, set to light performance mode and put almost all the apps in deep sleep.
I noticed that the battery keeps draining suspiciously, especially using some apps like Instagram, Twitter and Aliexpress. Even browsing with Chrome and opening multiple tabs gave strange results (phone heating and battery draining).
My last charge lasted almost 48 hours.

Should I wait for the phone to exit the initial 1/2 weeks phase that we were talking about before, even if I factory reset it?
Or should I start thinking my phone is faulty and ask for a replacement?

All this trouble for a new ultra phone is kinda crazy to me.

Hey,

I also bought s24 Ultra recently and I also used smart smart switch to set it up.

On the first day, I am also having similar experience. 3-4 hours SoT. Does it really get better?
