I am really disappointed with extreme battery drain in my S24 ultra. With 14 hrs total use the screen time is 2 hrs and standby is 12 hrs the battery is already down to 30%. I don't think it should be this is right. I had high expectations from s24 ultra but this is really bad. I have seen really good reviews on s24 ultra but having faced this issue I am really disappointed. May be my device is faulty please help me with a replacement. I paid 2200 AUD for this phone not to face this issue. DISAPPOINTED.

iPhone 15 Pro Max user here. Bought a S24U this month (I also love android phones and had plenty oldschool Galaxy S models like 2, 4, 6, 7)
I charged my S24U to 100%, unplugged and when turned on: 99%.
Less than 5 minutes after with NO USE: 98%
Not sure what's going on but Samsung definitely should work on it, it's truly disappointing.
My iPhone 15 Pro Max stands on 100% in heavy use (video, cellular, apps, etc) for like 30 min with no issues.

What upsets me more than the problem existing is that Samsung has been completely silent about the issue.
They HAVE to know what's going on, it's too prolific of a problem, affecting WAY too many phones. (it not all of them)
They've been making amazing products for decades now and their track record is extremely good, so I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt for now and hope that a software patch is incoming to fix this soon.
But they absolutely NEED to communicate with their customers. Acknowledge the problem, state that a fix is coming or tell us to send in the phones for replacement. But keeping silent about the whole thing and pretending the problem doesn't exist when it clearly does, is a catastrophic decision, especially for their FLAGSHIP product.

my s24 not only stays on a charger throughout the day, the touch screen doesn't work much of the time and now I have slow data. I'm already on a replacement phone and will be turning this phone in for another replacement phone. This is by far the worst phone Samsung has ever made. I was trying to deal with it but now I have way too many issues so I'm using my warranty for replacement. My original phone was replaced immediately with a brand new phone due to battery drain issues. I kept my current one only because I realize although it's better it is still a problem and all the phones may be a problem. It's a bummer to have to reload the phone as sometimes there are things lost. But I have to move forward and do this again.

Essential Guide for Samsung S24 Ultra Users: Drastically Improving Battery Performance
If you've noticed a significant drop in battery life after recent updates, you're not alone. Many people are facing this issue, and Samsung support is completely ignoring it.
I went from 7-9 hours of screen-on time to just 3-4 hours. After following this guide, I managed to restore battery performance back to 7 hours of screen-on time.

Thanks Nabil for this guide, but i am buying this mobile to enjoy its features not to minimize everything which is unacceptable. I have iphone 15 pro max and it is superb, unbelievable comparing to s24 ultra which is worst mobile i bought, and i will sell it As Soon As Possible and never will think to try Samsung again. It is shame on Samsung when they don’t have logic answers. How come 2 days i bought it and the battery draining around 25% within 6h and still continuously draining. Samsung has to take action As Soon As Possible. From my side i am in the gulf area. I don’t have idea about other regions. And this this the second s24 ultra with me since 1 month. Because the first one had the same issue and was india made so i thought because of where it is made. The second vietnam made and paid more to get it and unfortunately the same problem. I hope that Samsung will wake up and take serious action regarding that.

I did notice the Ultra 24 battery lifespan is not as good as the Ultra 23. It drops much faster. If any user have been using 'Note to Ultra'... should have realised the same.

Yes totally right me also the same issues exactly. I had s23 ultra and s24 ultra and i observed that . and i am planning to sell it and no to use anymore Samsung mobile. Today 6am battery 96, now 2pm it is 69 without touching the mobile. And Samsung don’t admit the problem. They are telling is normal because the AI. And i think they are not understanding the AI because with AI the battery should better since the first day which is not the case.
