Hi @popmaster109

I have the Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ ' Ultra ' model and this is working fine, however I do not typically have this setting togged On as I'm fine with rhe phone charging to full.

Try a soft reboot by turning the phone off and on.

And > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files. There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate to ask.  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Hi @popmaster109

I have 2 S24 Ultra and both are charging wirelessly on both protection modes.

As well as clearing the cache partition as suggested by @BandOfBrothers, you could also try booting the phone in safe mode and see if it works as expected.

This page explains how to boot in safe mode:

@popmaster109: It might be the case that, with 'Protect battery' enabled, your graph will show a full charge as it recognises 85% as the maximum charge amount, if that makes sense. Next time you charge your device, make a note of the battery percentage on screen, or check the Status bar in the top right. To ensure you're set up to do this, please head to Settings > Battery  > Charging settings > Show charging information > Back > Show battery percentage > On.

Im having same issue. I am using the 24 ultra with the watch 5 pro. On my flip 4 it instantly recognized to load to full 100% while sleeping and else just to 85% but here it just loads to full 100% wired or wireless and in all battery protection modes. I rebooted the device a few times by now but the battery protection is not working at all...

I have the same problem with my S24 Ultra.  The graph shows it goes right to 100% on the Basic Battery Protection setting and stays there.  It is supposed to drop to 95% and then back to 100%.  It does not.

Mines started to work now after the updates. It does have to learn your charging patterns too
