My Galaxy 24 Ultra arrived and I got the Titanium Grey colour phone. So I was looking at the differences and how much I prefer the new phone over the S23 Ultra
Now just firstly wanted to point out that I used my mirror less camera for the photos in RAW format.
But on some of the photos I used the Phones AI software to help edit the images.
On the surface it all looks similar.
But there are some changes.
The camera placements are more or less the same.
Sensor sizes look similar as well.
I think the flatter glass is a plus for me. Especially with using the S Pen to write on the screen.
Ttalking about the screen, the new phone has a more anti reflective element to it.
So in brighter lighting, you get less glare from it.
As you can see in the photo. The S24 Ultra on the right.
This will make it easier to use outside.
This also gives the screen a slightly different look to it. It's kind of similar to polarised glass, well at least to my old eyes.
To me I like the look of it.
I have both screens set on the natural setting.
Bottom of the phone has a slightly more cleaner look to it, with a speaker slot rather than the grill.
Top on the phone is similar but for an extra hole.
Side buttons are in a very similar position.
So far it's all new and getting used to. But I like that the new phone is slightly lighter. Which helps holding the phone for a long period, using the S Pen to write on the screen.
Not having so much reflection off the screen is great.
Overall my first impressions are good. Look forward to finding out more. Especially with the AI software.
