Hi,

I hope someone has a solution for this problem. I want to transfer files from a s23 phone to a s24 phone via Quick Share. The S24 phone is 1 month old. The phone is updated. I have tried the following to resolve it but nothing is working.

- Cleared cache, QS

- Cleared storage, QS

- Who can share with you: everyone

- QS, version 13.6.53.6 (newest)

- Soft reset of the phone

Is there anything else I can try???

Thanks for the help

Samsung Support could help me and it's working now. I had to do the following steps.

1. Phone Reset (not factory reset)

- 1. Open the device's Settings and tap on Apps.
- 2. Tap on Choose default apps.
- 3. Select a Default app option.
- 4. Select your preferred default app, then tap the back arrow key to apply changes.

2. Reset Apps (was not working for me so I had to do the next one)

- 1. Open the device's Settings and tap on Apps.
- 2. Tap on Choose default apps.
- 3. Select a Default app option.
- 4. Select your preferred default app, then tap the back arrow key to apply changes.

Reset Preference (final step)

- 1. Open the device's Settings and tap on Apps.
- 2. Tap on the three dots.
- 3. Select Reset app preferences.
- 4. Tap on Reset to complete the action.

Step 1 and 3 was working for me.

Hello @TakaM and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum 👍

How big are the files your trying to share  ?

https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/mobile-apps-services/quick-share-fail is a similar thread.

If you perform a forum search you may find existing threads with some further help or guidence within.

Samsung Help Link https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-use-quick-share-to-share-a-file-between-pho...

In the interim would using SmartSwitch be a workaround.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Hi BoB,

Thank you for your reply and help.

I'm trying to send simple picture so it shouldn't be a problem. I can send the pictures (300 pictures) without issues to my old phone S10. My S24 can't even receive one picture.

Ich have checked the Forum as well the internet for the last 3 days but nothing was working.

I understand there're 3rd party solutions but tbh I would like to avoid them. It's a brand new phone and it should work without any issues... especially for the price.

I have restarted both phones, cleaned cache and storage, deleted the update and reinstalled. I'm sending and receiving of just one picture is still not working. Bluetooth is on and both phones are connected to the same wifi. Sending pictures to my old s10 is no issue... it works seamlessly so the problem must be my s24
